Pinoy influencer to Greta Thunberg: Keep your house in perfect order before you criticize the world

It appears Greta Thunberg is still not off the hook yet from Pinoy netizens, especially among the pro-Marcos crowd because of her statement that “no climate justice under Marcos”.

Carlo de Leon, a pro-Marcos influencer took his turn in giving Greta Thunberg the Filipino brand of welcoming aliens who meddle in our local affairs.

Basically, de Leon’s message is simple to Greta Thunberg’s handlers – educate her handlers because judging by her statement, she is ignorant that the Philippines is a democratic and republican state.

De Leon also expressed confusion with Greta’s statement regarding climate justice because as far as he is concerned, he can’t connect martial law and climate change. If there is anything to make out of Greta’s statement, she is forcing the correlation between environmental issues and partisan politics.

De Leon rebuked Thunberg, telling her not to meddle in Philippine politics because obviously she is not a Filipino and apparently not even been to the Philippines and strongly doubt she knows our political history.

De Leon ended the FB post by leaving Greta Thunberg a wise advice: keep your house in order before criticizing the world.

You may now read Carlo de Leon’s original FB post below.

The handlers of Greta Thunberg should educate her. Number one, the Philippines is a democratic and republican State. Sovereignty resides in the people, and all government authority emanates from them (not from foreigners and especially not from foreigner kids, who know nothing.)

And that’s in our constitution. So why fight for something that we already have, Greta Thunberg?

I don’t get it. What is the connection between victims of martial law and climate change? Greta is forcing a relationship between environmental issues and partisan politics. It’s obvious.

Greta, don’t meddle in our political affairs; you are not a Filipino, you haven’t even been to our country, and I strongly doubt you know our political history.

As Jordan Peterson always says, keep your house in perfect order before you criticize the world.

Grow up, Greta!

You are from Sweden. Abortion is legal there. Why not fight that brutal law allowing the deaths of innocent babies?

Abortion is illegal in the Philippines; it’s a criminal offense classified as murder.
