This Leni Robredo’s statement on her first week as the co-chair of the Inter Agency Committee on Illegal Drugs has scandalized Pinoy Facebook netizens.
So what did Leni say that riled up Pinoy Facebook netizens?
According to the screenshot taken from News5AKSYON’s tweet and shared by DDS bloggers like Mark Lopez, Robredo said the reason she requested for a meeting with the Inter Agency Committee on Anti-Illegal Dr*gs was that she wants to know where to start and the data.
An apparently incensed Atty. Trixie of the Facebook page Luminous by Trixie Angeles Cruz and Ahmed Paglinawan called out Robredo after realizing the VP video she sent to the United Nations was not not based on facts but lies to discredit government’s WOD.
“Palit ulo?” “Labag sa rule of law”? (She had a lot of complaints about w@r on dr*gs previously. Turned out she had no data as basis. So, where did she get the figures about EJKs, “palit-ulo” and statement like “Against the rule of law”?) [Link here]
Radio host and blogger Mark Lopez echoed Atty. Trixie’s sentiment in a Facebook post.
Lopez can’t help but cussed at Leni Robredo for making false claims in the video she sent to the UN.
Meanwhile, Pinoy netizens, who are obviously not a fan of the Vice President, lashed at Leni Robredo for spreading fake news, telling the world that we have EJKs and yet she just said she had no data on WOD.
“It’s plain and simple, Leni is incriminating herself. Imagine, she had already made so many criticism against the war on drugs internationally and yet she’s now asking for data. Why not ask rappler for data?”
“So nagreport ka sa abroad without solid proof or valid data?!
Meanwhile, one netizen managed to make light of Robredo’s alarming statement by joking that Robredo should ask Trillanes to furnish her a copy of his Excel files.
Hehehe. San na pala yun? Nakakabother pananahimik ni trililing a…
One commenter remarked that Robredo’s statement was proof that “you can catch the fish by his mouth” hence…without records…no data, nothing proven….mean her alleged hanash are all baseless.
