This is how an awestruck former DLSU History professor reacts to this latest political chess move of President Duterte as the election fever is starting to intensify.
Van Ybiernas, former DLSU History professor and now a professor in a South Korean University outside Seoul, could only marvel at the political savvy of President Duterte.
Ybiernas said that Duterte hitting back Pacquiao who made noise about corruption under his administration while saying that Sara isn’t keen in running for president in 2022 election and Pacquiao was supposedly one of his options left him laughing at the effect it has on Pacquiao and his next moves.
“Pagkatapos nya bigwasan si Pakyaw saka nya sasabihin na ayaw naman talaga tumakbo ni Sara kaya nga isa sana sa mga options para maging kandidatong pangulo si Manny. Hahaha.”
Ybiernas theorized that Duterte’s narrative can be interpreted in two ways.
One, Sara was forced to run though she was not interested. Two, Manny was supposedly PRRD’s anointed one but because of his antics, Pres. Duterte is making Pacquiao think whether he will continue treading the anti-Duterte path or take the wait and see attitude and see what happens? Ybiernas remarked that Duterte’s latest chess move is forcing Pacquiao to second guess his recent decisions.

1. Kunwari tuloy mapipilitan pa tumakbo si Sarang ayaw na sana tumakbo. Hahaha.
2. Si Manny sana ang pambato… nilagyan pa ni Dutz ng pag-iisipan si Pakyaw na tipong “dapat ba nanahimik na lang ako?” Hahaha. I-se-second guess tuloy ni Pakyaw ang mga recent decisions nya.
