The Luminous, especially, Atty. Trixie Cruz-Angeles, a staunch Duterte supporter has shared her personal analysis why the talks between the Leni Robredo and Ping Lacson camps to determine who will be the Opposition standard bearer bogged down.
Ping Lacson,” Atty. Trixie wrote.
Atty. Trixie elaborated the position of Senator Ping Lacson first, followed by the position of Leni Robredo.
(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k7dm49b3k44)”
At this point, Atty. Trixie shared what she thinks what went down in the talks between the Leni and Lacson camp. She recalled how 1Sambayan tried to use this formula and failed. Why? Because it wanted to monopolize the selection process, which we already know was rejected by the presidential wannabes.
Atty. Trixie commented that Lacson’s proposal was no different to 1Sambayan’s formula to find the common candidate. Besides, it was unclear who among them will have the say which tandem is the strongest.
As far as Atty. Trixie is concerned, finding the strongest tandem among the Opposition is not as as simple as they think. First, the possibility of the ratings of candidate to fluctuate is there. Second, it was not far-fetched that Madam Leni reminded the Lacson camp her come-from-behind win against Marcos.
At this point, Atty. Trixie raised an important question directed to the Opposition camp.
Atty. Trixie concluded the FB post by sharing her thoughts about the Opposition’s ability to unite because they have one denominator they need to overcome.
