The news that the Office of the Vice President is asking money in behalf of the Taal volcano eruption victims has been met with criticism and ridicule.
Radio host Mark Lopez, a critic of Leni Robredo and the Opposition, presented a strong argument on Facebook why donating money for the Taal volcano eruption victims via Angat Buhay of Leni Robredo isn’t a good idea.
Lopez called the solicitation campaign of the OVP “Angat Bangko”, a whimsical attempt of the pro-Duterte radio host to undermine the initiative of the camp of Vice President Robredo.
Lopez remarked that reminding the public of the dilawan’s old habit of politicizing even financial aid or donations and grab credit from the donations of private companies to deodorize the image of their leader is very timely.
Lopez was talking about the Surigao quake in 2017 quake when the camp of Leni Robredo made it appear that the Office of the Vice President donated 7,500 liters of drinking water to the quake victims when it was later debunked by an officer from Coca Cola FEMSA itself that the Office of VP has nothing to do with the donation.

February 2017 Surigao Earthquake – Coca Cola FEMSA Philippines donated 7,500 liters of drinking water which they coursed through the LGU and assisted by the DSWD and the Philippine Army.
Pero as debunked by an officer from Coca Cola FEMSA itself, it was solely the initiative of the company, and based on their own Incident Management and Crisis Resolution (IMCR) process.
Kasi naman eh, don’t us…
