San Bedan law grad’s response to Drilon’s ‘Build, Build, Build is a dismal failure’ statement: TUWID NA DAAN was the dismal failure and NOT the Build Build Build

ICMYI, the senator from Iloilo Franklin Drilon just told GMA News the ‘Build, Build, Build’ programs of the much-touted infra-programs of the Duterte admin as a dismal failure.

Drilon’s remark did not sound music to the ears of DDS, especially to San Beda College of Law alumnus lawyer Bruce Rivera, a known Duterte supporter on social media.

Rivera did not waste a minute and took to Facebook to put Drilon’s statement under intense scrutiny.

Rivera argued that the BBB program of the Duterte admin is not a dismal failure because only a few flagship projects are realized. The fact that we are building and building means we have cash to be able to invest in infrastructure projects.

Rivera corrected Drilon that you only call the BBB a dismal failure when nothing ever been built.

DRILON: BUILD BUILD BUILD IS A DISMAL FAILURE

Rivera then shifted the spotlight to the TUWID NA DAAN of the previous admin (Drilon played a key role) and said that’s what dismal failure and monumental failure was all about.

Do you know why the TUWID NA DAAN was a monumental failure as far as Rivera is concerned?

Because they only promised to build one straight road (TUWID NA DAAN) but failed to deliver that promise to the Filipino.

Rivera added that Drilon’s LP left the reins of power as corrupt as it ever was. Rivera said Drilon was part of the administration that promised a straight line but gave us a crooked road to hell.

“You only promised to build one straight road and were you able to deliver even something close to it? NOTHING. NADA. ZERO. You left the reins of power as corrupt as it ever was. You are part of an administration that promised a straight line but gave us a crooked road to hell. And it is not as if the verdict is still hanging on the failure of the LP rule. Your only claim to power is the fact that 2016 elected most of you. 2019 did not do you any favors. The Filipino people has abandoned you.”

That is the dismal failure and NOT the Build Build Build, Rivera ended with an emphatic tone.

What can you say about this?
