Did Manila Mayor Isko Moreno just take a swipe at Inday Sara Duterte when he told CNN Philippines host Pinky Webb of “The Source” that he will not vote for someone who will simply inherit his or her position from a family member?
Inday Sara Duterte’s friend and San Beda College of Law classmate, Atty. Bruce Rivera took to Facebook to respond to Mayor Isko Moreno’s jab at the presidential daughter via an open letter.
Atty. Bruce began by telling “YORME” that the Presidency is unlike the sperm cell which can be inherited but rather elected by the people. Not also an IQ (intelligence quotient) which is inherited from the mother.
Atty. Bruce continued that what is inherited are good looks and being hardworking. For sure, if the father likes build, build, build, why would Filipinos vote for the offspring whose father does not like build, build, build.
Simply put: if they don’t like political dynasty…find a way. Don’t just say this and that because you don’t like President Duterte’s offspring.
Atty. Bruce ended the brief open letter by putting Isko Moreno’s contradiction in one sentence.
