Liza Soberano, I guess if you are Pinoy (whether you are Kapuso, Kapamilya or Kapatid) know the young Kapamilya actress very well, was recently the guest of Gabriela Youth’s webinar on women’s issues.
The young actress’ participation elicited contrasting reaction from Pinoy netizens.
Of course, the dilawans and the so-called wokes welcomed the move while the Duterte supporters and bloggers, including Atty. Nick Nangit met Soberano’s involvement with the leftist group with raised eyebrows.
In a Facebook post, Atty. Nick began by asking the young actress if she knew what she was getting into.
“Sigurado kang alam mo ang pinapasok mo, Liza?
Atty. Nick asked if the young actress knew what organization is Gabriela Youth and what happened to the youths they recruited?
Did they denounce the r@pe and the de@ths of those they sent to w@r for their selfish cause, claiming it is for the country? an alarmed Atty. Nick interrogated Liza.
Atty. Nick asked Liza if the names below rings a bell to her?
Atty. Nick remarked these beauty queens were lucky because the ATA (Anti-Terror Act) was non-existent then.
Atty. Nick then asked Liza if she know the effect of the ATA to the CPP, the organizations and its members?
Atty. Nick said her beauty and career are a waste if she’s ignorant of this fact and work with them.
Atty. Nick wrapped up his brief sermon by leaving Liza something to ponder.
