Former actress G. The tongue is now working as a journalist for the LA Times, a newspaper catering the Filipino community and host of a talk show, ‘Kababayan Today’ and a Duterte critic.
Sec. Andanar of the PCOO who is in the US to attend the Trump inauguration as the 45th president of the USA met with the Fil-Am community.
G. Toengi, who is not fond of President Duterte and moreso of Mocha Uson, grabbed the mic literally speaking and questioned Mocha Uson’s qualifications to merit a post in MTRCB.
I saw an interview of yours that said that she had qualifications for him (Duterte) posting her at MTRCB. Ah, could you elaborate, what are her qualifications, what kind of qualification she has for this new position because she is a sex blogger? And, I am sorry I don’t feel that, that like many others don’t feel that, that is a qualification enough.
Sec. Andanar said that Mocha Uson is an entertainer, a singer, a songwriter and one of the biggest supporters of President Rodrigo Duterte and one of the biggest blogger already now, in town, in the Philippines.
After elaborating Mocha Uson’s curriculum vitae to G. Toengi, the former actress, Sec. Andanar immediately reminded the former actress and now a host of a TV show catering to the Fili-Americans in California that President Duterte has the trust and confidence of the majority of Filipinos and Mocha Uson was the choice of the President. Andanar urged the critics to respect the choice of the president.
Maharlka, she is a popular video blogger based in the US, stood up and took the cudgels for Mocha Uson.
Maharlika’s assertion goes like this. If some ‘bugok’ Congressmen, who have no qualifications, were allowed to serve, why not the likes of a Mocha Uson who wants to serve our country, correct?
Now, let’s hear the rebuttal of Mocha Uson to G. Toengi’s question why of all people, Mocha Uson, a sex blogger is given the post in MTRCB?
At para sayo Gi Tongi yung pagtatanong mo ay halatang hindi naghahanap ng sagot kundi bumabatikos sa desisyon ng aming Pangulo. Ako na ang sasagot sa bugok mong isip.

HONESTLY, I AM NOT COMFORTABLE JUSTIFYING MY QUALIFICATIONS AS MTRCB BOARD MEMBER KAYA LANG MASYADO KANG MAPANGHUSGA.
I am a Filipino. I am more than 21 years old. I have no criminal record. I WAS a sex blogger. That was 7 years ago.
Now let me ask you, si GRACE POE ay naging MTRCB Chairman noong panahon ni AQUINO, tama? Ano po ang qualification niya bilang isang Chairman aside from being the daughter of FPJ? Naging artista po ba siya? Naging TV personality ba siya? Naging entertainer ba siya? I never questioned her as MTRCB CHAIRMAN. If you are trying to question my appointment as BOARD MEMBER, why didn’t you question the appointed MTRCB CHAIRMAN of AQUINO? Simple answer, MIYEMBRO KA NG MGA BUGOK!
Oh, sa mga bugok na sasabihing wala akong good moral character and standing in the community-

– advocate po ako ng VACC (Volunteers Against Crime and Corruption)

Your thoughts on this?
I take side on the Team of G Toengi.
I think there’ s Moral Responsibility in being a Government Officer| Man, the President himself is Immoral, so I guess his people are too 😛 That is they Christians 😛
Moral responsibility is different from immoral per se.
Do you comprehend the meaning? If not ,you have no moral responsibility to comment on subjects you have limited understanding.
that is correct!
Firstly, moral responsibility is everyone’s responsibility.
Secondly, what is morally acceptable to you may not be morally acceptable to me.
Lastly, I respect your opinion. So, you should respect the Filipino people, too!
Are you kidding me??? Nope — I don’t support G. Tongi putting down this lady based on your reasoning of the situation. Firstly, you can’t even apply the “Christianity” aspect here because, knowing Tongi’s social interests from her social media pages, she couldn’t care less about religious concerns. She never talks about those topics or God. (Is she even a practicing, church-going Christian? I bet you big money the answer is ‘no’.)
Secondly, I used to follow her on her Instagram page and was a supporter of hers until I saw for myself that her tagline of”appreciating” and “not judging” is utter crap. A total falsehood, for sure. It started with her support of the #BlackLivesMatter movement. She made a lot of posts about it, but once people had an opinion different from hers (e.g., how all lives matter), she started to block and ban people without a second thought. Of course, to be fair, a few of the people she blocked/banned were rude and/or vulgar. But a good number of them DIDN’T even insult her. Many were just debating with her and giving constructive arguments. Well, apparently that didn’t sit well with her, and she accused them of “bashing” her. (Clearly, she doesn’t understand the true meaning of that word.)
Whatever. Since that moment a few months ago, I’ve learned that she’s a real hypocrite, and unlike her tagline, she actually likes to judge, not appreciate people who think differently from her. She considers herself an “activist” who wants to fight for equality and certain rights, but that’s a joke since she can barely instill a true sense of peace by being nice, respectful and understanding towards others. Maybe it’s because of her UCLA education…perhaps that makes her think that she’s much better and more intelligent than others. Or is it because that talk show in L.A. was handed down to her? I don’t know what it is, but yes…she certainly acts like she’s better than everyone else – as if she’s earned the right to be both judge and juror of others. And even with her obvious condescending behavior, she still has fans who kiss her butt just because they think she’s pretty and looks like Natalie Portman, LOL.
And you know, apparently even now, she is still trying to make it in Hollywood. (See her Instagram page, and you’ll see that, not long ago, she posted two professional pictures for her TV pilot season portfolio. ) The ironic thing is, she’ll never make it far in Hollywood with her current attitude. Having a photogenic face that gives either smouldering looks or seemingly sweet smiles to the camera won’t be enough to cut it alone in this town…and your network of “connections” won’t be enough to get you through either. HUMILITY and KINDNESS, girl. Get some and you’ll see that you can get further in life with it.
(Yes, I’ve said a lot, but I can’t stand this chick. I just wish that “Kababayan” show would replace her and get a better, more classy host similar to Jannelle So, who was the first host and show creator! )
Don’t judge people for their past. I hate judging and putting down other people because they believe they are better than other is laughable. Treat people with dignity is a christian thing to do. All human being are capable of doing great. No one has a right to question other credibility because you think you are better than other. With miss G. Toengi comment like that? I can only say you shamed some the women in the Philippines with your attitude. You are like a fly sitting on top of the cow thinking you are taller than a cow. Yabang mo!
