A Facebook post hinting Andrew E, the celebrity face who was the dominant fixture, whether physically or not in every PBBM caravan or campaign sortie, is Lazada PH answer to Toni Gonzaga of ShopeePH has been making the rounds recently.
One pro-Marcos influencer also shared it on her wall without putting out any caption except but a single emoji of a laughing face to express her reaction on the rumor.
Turned out, the news about Andrew E and Lazada was submitted by a fan of the FB page Imperial Patriarch who shared it on their wall but clarified it was unofficial and their wishful thinking but posted it anyway to troll the wokes who called for ShopeePH’s cancellation and for the fun of it.
So I headed to Twitter to double check the rumor swirling on Facebook and I found this tweet from PressOnePH which I believed to be credible, unless Lazada says otherwise.
So folks, the rumor of Lazada getting Andrew E as their answer to Toni G and Shopee partnership is not TRUE. I repeat, FAKE NEWS!
Following online uproar after e-commerce site Shopee announced actress Toni Gonzaga as their newest brand ambassador, rival platform Lazada issued a statement regarding a viral post alleging Andrew E as next endorser. #PressOnePH #FactCheck #FactsFirstPHhttps://t.co/jUuiedNVCo

Lazada’s Andrew E is just a hoax. It’s a fan made graphic. If it was true there is one major reason Toni G will be canceled more than Andrew E. Top of the list is HYPOCRISY. Toni uses Bible verses to prove her point, while being the country’s top traitor.
