Two popular DDS bloggers say BBB+ credit rating upgrade a brilliant argument why Roxas, OtsoDiretso not needed in senate

Did you hear the good news?

The Philippines, to borrow Krizette Chu’s opening statement in a Facebook post, “THE PHILIPPINES JUST EARNED A BBB+ from SP, OUR HIGHEST EVER CREDIT RATING IN HISTORY. EVER.”

What does this mean?

Well, thanks to Krizette Chu for sharing her precious time by explaining to ordinary netizens like me who are challenged when it comes to topics like credit rating and the economy using the simple analogy of a bank client, loan application and his bank.

Here’s how Krizette puts it.

If you were a good bank client, your savings account has increased since the day you started doing business with your bank and fast forward today, your bank says, of course after reviewing your credit history, you can apply for a loan to buy your dream Chrysler jeep instead of the Toyota Vios they offered you 5 years ago.

On top of that, you can now loan P30M to build your dream house or start a business.

So there you go folks. That’s what is BBB+ credit upgrade for the Philippines.

Meanwhile, Krizette declared that this is the best version of the Philippines under this administration despite all the destabilization and negative propaganda from the opposition to sabotage the Duterte admin.

The Philippines, Krizette said, is akin to a Miss Universe candidate who was sabotaged by envious competitors since day 1 and yet, the Philippines emerged as the winner.

Krizette ended the post by taking a swipe at Mar Roxas, saying that the BBB+ credit rating upgrade of the Philippines means, we don’t need a Wharton upgrade in the senate like Mar Roxas who has been telling the public that the country needs an economist like him to save our country from economic malaise.

Krizett also batted for discarding the likes of credit-grabber Bam Aquino and Lito Lapid in the senate.

THE PHILIPPINES JUST EARNED A BBB+ from SP, OUR HIGHEST EVER CREDIT RATING IN HISTORY. EVER.

The Philippines is doing not just well but better, financially speaking, says a credit ratings agency who only cares about numbers and not politics and has just upgraded us.

To apply this to our normal life kunyari, dati yung banko looking at your savings account and your capacity to pay your credit cards and loans, ang pautang sayo hanggang Toyota Vios lang. Suddenly your savings account medyo lumaki and consistent ka magbayad ng loans… your bank now allows you to loan a Chrysler Jeep and you can loan P30M For a new house or a business.

Despite the Opposition doing their worst, we’re becoming our best version under this administration. Galing no? yung parang ikaw pa rin yung Miss Universe kahit na sinasabotahe ka ng ibang contestants—they’ve tripped you, slashed your gown, gave you food poison, hid your swimsuit. ikaw pa rin ang nanalo (I know, traveling has muddled my brain and this is the best analogy I can come up with at 5 a.m. where I’m from. Just take it.)

Guess we don’t need your Wharton degree in Economics again, Mar Roxas. We’re actually doing very well without you. We’re actually doing very well even with your puppet Leni Robredo being Vice President whose only job really is to be kontrabida and she’s not even very good at being kontrabida because kontrabidas have to be articulate and sassy and sophisticated. She and Jover are the worst kontrabidas ever to ever be cast in a kontrabida role.

Mar Roxas there goes your entire campaign. As in, your only platform.

PLEASE PHILIPPINES WE DONT NEED MAR ROXAS TO FUCK UP OUR PROGRESS. WE DONT NEED CREDIT GRABBERS LIKE BAM AQUINO NA KOKONTRAHIN LANG LAHAT. WE ALSO DONT NEED LITO LAPID.

Meanwhile, radio host and blogger Mark Lopez echoed Krizette Chu’s sentiment in light of the BBB+ credit rating upgrade.

Lopez wrote in a Facebook post that the credit rating upgrade of the Philippines is undeniable proof that Mar Roxas is a BIG liar.

Lopez noted that Roxas election campaign is anchored on the platform the the country needs an economist in the senate like him because the country under the Duterte admin is facing economic crisis, skyrocketing prices of goods and commodities.

In the same post explains how the Philippines got BBB+ credit rating upgrade from Standard and Poor, high-quality market intelligence in the form of credit ratings, research, and thought leadership.

CREDIT RATING
