IKAW GRACE? ANONG GINAWA MO DURING THE PANDEMIC? HINDI BA YOU BLOCKED DUTERTE’S EMERGENCY POWERS? AT KAHIT NA PINAHIRAPAN MO SI DUTERTE, KUMAKALEMBANG PA RIN ANG ECONOMY?!
US-based Bicolano accountant Edwin Jamora bombarded Senator Grace Poe with questions to begin his FB rant after she was quoted that we may have grown by 11.8% from the 17% contraction of last year, but that’s nothing to brag about because much of it is base effect.
Poe added that what our people urgently need now is for the government to spend their tax money on the health sector by paying the hospitals and healthcare workers, while protecting and creating jobs.
Jamora was apparently triggered by Senator Poe’s reaction who, instead of receiving the news in great spirits, she was depressed that our economy defied the odds and even managed to register a double digit growth. Jamora snickered at Poe’s choice of language, particularly the word “base effect”. He can’t help but ask if Poe is new Leni?
Aba! At meron palang kaluluwang nalulungkot sa magandang balita tungkol sa ekonomiya! Mga base effect chienes daw mga friends! Siya na ba ang bagong Madumb Leni sa mga hirit na ganito?
Jamora, who was undeniably annoyed by the negativity of Senator Poe’s statement, said that the country will continue to hit the targets this year and the next.
“Imfak, even with the pandemic, ang forecast is that, we will continue to hit the 2021 and 2022 targets!”
Jamora ended the brief FB rant by calling Senator Poe’s opinion unreasonable or worse, you know what I mean.
“Saltik yata opinion ni Aleng Panday dito, mga friends!”
Let us read some of the unflattering comments of netizens directed at Senator Poe.
“Like Hontivirus trapoe would also say something against the good news from the government”
“Hindi talaga matutuwa iyan dahil gusto niyan sila ang credit.”
“They will never be happy when the government is not working for their favor.”
“Nasasaktan si Grace Poetek sa accomplishment ng Digong admin..bakit kaya ang lasa ng ampalaya ay…”
Note: On Jamora saying Poe blocked Duterte’s request for emergency power at the beginning of the pandemic and yet, we still managed to post high growth rates for 2nd quarter of 2021, Rappler article here “seems” to agree with Jamora.
