Are you the “SALE” promo type of shopper? If you think you get the product for less when it is put on sale, then you are dead wrong!
A post warning netizens not to fall prey to the “SALE” promos employed by mall owners to generate sales is making the rounds online.
Facebook user identified as Sheng Chi issued the warning on social media on September 13, to warn her friends of what she unwitingly discovered while on a bargain hunting trip in SM Rosales, Pangasinan.
The netizen claimed that she first stumbled on this fact while shopping in SM Baguio.
Unfortunately, she forgot to take a photo to back up her allegation.
Please read the full text of the post of Sheng Mi containing the allegation against SM Rosales.
Photo was taken in Rosales, Pangasinan.
The first time I observed it was in SM Baguio. Unfortunately, wala po akong nakuhang litrato noon
The photo has been shared by netizens more than 11,000 thousand times as of Thursday morning.
It is not clear though if the photo is unedited or authentic.
In this day and age, photos can be edited by a professional graphic artist using Photoshop.
Note: Based on my personal experience, I have yet to experience this after I heard a similar rumor in the past on social media.
