Senator Grace Poe is fighting an uphill battle in the Supreme Court to stay in the running for the 2016 Presidential race!

Grace Poe citizenship issue

This is the result after the Comelec declared her candidacy null and void for failing to meet the requirements that a Presidential candidate shall be natural-born Filipino.

For the past few months, Grace Poe’s critics have been using her American citizenship issue to dislodge the adopted daughter of Fernando Poe from from the top of the surveys but they fell short.

Until, the citizenship issue was brought to the Senate Electoral Tribunal which she won. But when her opponents brought the case to the Comelec, her fortune started to change when the Comelec favored the petitioners questioning her candidacy.

The main beef the critics have with Grace Poe is that she is a Filipino who turned her back to the mother country and switched allegiance to the American flag. And then switched back to Filipino citizenship when she found it convenient.

Her critics are worried we might have a First Family who are American citizens in the event Senator Grace Poe wins the Presidential election.

But Grace Poe insists, she has not turned her back totally from the Philippines after renouncing her Filipino citizenship and she remains a Filipino by heart. But did she?

The alleged campaign video material from the camps of Grace Poe just popped up on Facebook today and viewed 6600 plus times since it was uploaded, January 4, 2016.

There’s nothing really special about the video not until you pay a closer attention to the background music. Does the Star-Spangled Banner rigns a bell to you?

In fairness to Senator Grace Poe, the video could have been edited by her Presidential rivals to make it appear her loyalty belongs to the American flag despite her past pronouncements that her allegiance belongs to the Philippines.
