Retired broadcaster Jay Sonza had a field day heckling VP Leni Robredo on a Sunday after VP aspirant Sara Duterte reprimanded the Vice President for her penchant of using Twitter as platform of operation – directing rescue and relief operations and asking for donations for the victims of natural disasters like the recent typhoon.
On Facebook, Sonza told Robredo to watch and learn from Sara Duterte perhaps she can learn a thing or two how to properly run a relief operations without much fanfare on Twitter and get the job done.
It can be recalled that Robredo took to Twitter to announce that the Office of the Vice President is ready to help the typhoon victims and telling those planning to conduct a donation drive to wait for their cue until they get at least a total picture of what the affected people on the ground really needs.
Yung mga nagpaplano pong mag donation drive, ang suggestion po namin, hintayin natin until tomorrow para may better information na tayo ng mga kailangan. Anyway, nakahanda na po kami ng tulong for today and the next few days. Para lang po mas organized tayo.

Sonza mentioned that the OVP should be prepared at all times for any contingency and not act only after the fact. If you pay a closer attention at what Inday Sara has done, they already have the relief goods, packed and ready to fly to their destination a day after the typhoon left the PAR and just waiting to be transported while Robredo’s camp was still calling for donation and assessing the damage. Sonza said this is not how you do it.
